happy anniversary
the gurlfriend and i celebrate 11 years today. wowee. we have now officially survived my twenties! to celebrate, she's taking her very first static trapeze lesson with me!!!
my week in seattle was really lovely. met lots of friendly new folks, enjoyed gorgeous weather, hung out with the parents, ate lots of good food. two favorite things to do: volunteer park, arboretum's japanese garden. favorite coffee place: zoka's in the university area. favorite fake-meat restaurant: bamboo garden (the food is *totally* worth the plane ride).

Bamboo Garden is great. I've occasionally pondered making my own tasty, perfectly rectangular faux chicken bits but I have no idea where to begin.
